Short answer: the main GLP-1 medications in the US are semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus), tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), liraglutide (Victoza, Saxenda), dulaglutide (Trulicity) and orforglipron (Foundayo). Tirzepatide also acts on the GIP receptor. The ones approved for weight management are Wegovy, Zepbound, Saxenda and Foundayo. The others are approved for type 2 diabetes.
